Bedrooms: There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. All are light and airy with fitted mirrored wardrobes, travertine dressing tables, multiple power points, are fully air-conditioned and have views of the sea and the mountains.
Bathrooms: There are 3 modern bathrooms, fully tiled with chrome and glass showers, European standard WCs and chrome and ceramic washbasins in mahogany stained cabinets. The master bathroom has a double ‘honeymoon’ shower.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic halogen hob, a combined microwave, grill and oven, dishwasher, full-size fridge and freezer, toaster, juicer, etc, a full range of utensils and cookware and glass doors to the terrace dining area.
Utility Room: The utility room has a washing machine, condensing tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, water heater, back-up water tank and pump, a large storage area and a 12 metre fishing rod with reel and tackle.
Living Rooms: The living area has leather and chrome sofas, travertine seating around the fireplace, LCD TV with CD/DVD player and surround sound, a modern oak dining table to seat 6–8 with a matching oak desk, air-conditioning and 2 sets of glass doors to the terrace.
Other: The terrace living area has a wrought iron sofa and twin arm chairs, marble coffee and occasional tables and a marble dining table with seating for 6. The movie room has Ottoman style seating, LCD projection, surround sound and air-conditioning.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: All linen, bathroom towels and pool towels are provided and these are changed once a week. The villa is cleaned once a week and the pool every day.

Accessibility
The villa’s shaded parking is at the main peninsula road level - so no steep hills! There are stone steps down to the villa so it would not be suitable for people with severe mobility problems. My 84 year old mother manages them easily!

Outside
The swimming pool is approximately 45 square metres and 1.9 metres at the deep end. Access to the pool area is gated from the terrace and the ground floor balcony making it safer for children. There is a large shaded outside living area (described above) and the villa is surrounded by newly planted terraced gardens. Irfan, the gardener, looks after the pool and pool area every day.

Coast/Beach
The villa is approx. 80 metres from the sea and has its own beach platform, with a ladder for sea swimming. There are more swimming platforms and beach bars in Kas and the pool facilities of the Aquapark hotel are only 3 minutes walk away. Patara beach, the longest sandy beach in Europe, is about 40 minutes away and Kaputas beach, which appears in all the holiday brochures, is about 20 minutes away. In addition the many boats in Kas harbour go to locations all along the turquoise coast.

Travel
Kas is 150km (2.5 hours) from Dalaman International airport and 190 km (3 hours) from Antalya International airport. Airport transfers can easily be arranged.

Distances
The villa is only a 5 min drive from Kas town, with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops and sea bathing platforms. There is an hourly dolmus bus service and plenty of taxis. Kalkan is 25 minutes and the mountain villages are 30 minutes away.

There are three balconies with the apartment, all of which have stunning sea views and two of which are extremely large. There is a garden area adjacent to the shared pool which has a patio. We have provided sun loungers for the use of our guests.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is 10 min walk into Kas town and harbour. Kas has 2 pebbly beaches, as well as a number of ‘beach clubs’ which provide free sunbeds and umbrellas on sunbathing platforms with direct access to (and steps from!) the sea. The beautiful sandy beaches of Kaputas and Patara are about 15 and 40 mins drive from Kas respectively. The pretty sand/pebble coves of Liman Agzi, which face Kas’s harbour, can be reached by local boat service, departing every few mins.

Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport however Antalya is also an option. As the apartment is only a short walk into town car hire is not a necessity and taxis are readily available. Transfer time from Dalaman airport is 2 hours drive. From Antalya transfer time is 3 hours.

Distances
Kalkan is 30 min drive; Patara Beach 45 min drive; Fethiye 1 hour drive; Kekova 25 min drive. These can all be reached by dolmus. The bus station is 7 min walk away.

Kas is a small picturesque harbour town in a lovely bay under the sheer green Taurus mountains. A world apart from the overcrowded tourist resorts, it still has its typical scenery; small houses with wooden balconies, cobbled streets, traditional market and attractive harbour with fishing boats. There are many excellent and varied restaurants, tea gardens, bars and cafes, craft and clothes shops. Activities include scuba diving, gullet trips, paragliding and trekking. There are many historical remains to explore including the amazing rock tombs, sarcophagi and the Kas amphitheatre.

The accommodation is situated in one of two blocks, with 4 flats in each block. There are mature gardens and the pool area is quiet and very well maintained. You will have use of a large shared pool, which is open until the 12th of November (approx) and refilled on the 1st May every year. The apartment is fully furnished with a small sofa bed in the sitting room, double bedroom and second bedroom with 2 single beds, both bedrooms have sea views. Sea view apartment Kas Residence. A large pool is shared with 7 other apartments, only 1 other apartment is rented out, so the others are not intensively used. Apartment Manzara is fully air conditioned, has a specious living and a fully equipped open plan kitchen for self catering. Built up the mountain on the border of Kas. The position secures stunning views overlooking the village and the sea. Far enough from the noisy bars in Kas centre to secure a good night sleep, close enough to be in the middle of it when you want to. Bars, shops and restaurants are found in abundance in Kas centre only a 15 minute stroll down the steep mountain road. Also the beach can be reached easily this way. Back up you just use the regular Dolmus (minibus) stopping only a 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment.

The picturesque harbour town Kas (Antiphellos in the Greek era) is renowned for its natural charm at the Turkey Rivera. It has an attractive harbour front along which tea gardens, cafes and restaurants are to be found in abundance. Leading away from the harbour is a warren of winding cobbled streets full of colorful shops offering all manner of carpets, ceramics, arts and crafts. Kas has remained relatively unspoiled since, until recent times, it was only possible to reach there by sea or on horseback.

Tourism in Kas is international and tends to be of the more elite kind. The town is especially popular with the English, the Germans, the Scandinavians, the French, the Belgians and the Dutch, who come here in search of privacy, peace and quiet, comfort, nature, culture, active pursuits and fine cuisine. There is no mass tourism in Kas - no sprawling (all-inclusive) resorts or apartment complexes with organized entertainment. Many hikers pass through Kas as they walk The Lycian Way (a 509 km way-marked footpath around the coast from Fethiye to Antalya).

The Lycian coast - and Kas especially - is famous for its beauty. Kas is recommended in various travel guides and is a stop over for the cruises in traditional wooden Gulets: the Blue Voyages. Kas is centrally situated in relation to many interesting antiquities, cultural attractions and areas of natural beauty, which makes it an ideal base camp for day trips and excursions.

On the first floor, the sea-view balconies each have two chairs and smaller size tables. On the top floor, the mountain-view balcony has two chairs; the spacious sea-view balcony has table and chairs for six people, parasol and BBQ.

Coast/Beach
A five-minute stroll takes you to the lido-style public beaches with their crystal clear, turquoise water. The sun beds are free, though its fair to say the providers do hope to refresh you with a drink or snack at some point in the day. Even closer than this is the fabulous swimming pool and water slide of the town’s premiere hotel, available at a small charge. There are several sandy beaches well worth a visit – Kaputas and Patara being two of the best.

Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport with Antalya as a further option. Whilst it is possible to reach Kas from both of these by public transport, most visitors prefer the speed and convenience of private transfer. Local car hire firms offer this service and we are happy to arrange this on your behalf. The average time for transfer is two hours from Dalaman, three from Antalya.If you wish to hire a car, we can arrange this for you, alternatively taxies are readily available and the local small bus.

Distances
Kaputas beach is twenty minutes away by dolmus or car, Patara, with its 10 km sandy beach, dunes and world famous, pre-Roman archaeological site is a further twenty-five minutes. Between these two lies the charming harbour village of Kalkan.
